Many Opportunities to Take an Active Role in Protecting and Promoting Voting in Wisconsin

Thanks to all of the many voters who have participated in the several elections that have occurred so far this year in Wisconsin! We have one more election to go this year and it is the biggest and most important opportunity to exercise our voting rights and to demonstrate our power at the ballot box to determine elected representation at the federal and state levels. Additionally, there are many communities with important local referenda on their ballots.

All of us need to stay engaged and be "vote ready" for November!

Here are some upcoming, exciting opportunities for you to learn more about, to explore, and to help direct your citizen activism to preserve and protect our freedom to vote and uphold fair and free elections in Wisconsin:

Election Observation (Fall 2022)

Be a volunteer for Election Protection in Wisconsin! The League of Women Voters of Wisconsin manages the Election Observation program for our state and will launch a large on-the-ground program for the November 8th Election. You can learn more about the program through their webpage. And you can sign up to be an Election Observer here.

Voter Resources Fair for Milwaukee County

Be Vote Ready

Prepare NOW to VOTE in the November 2022 Election by making your plans to vote by mail, in-person absentee (aka "early voting"), or on Election Day. If you have moved and/or need to update your voter registration, there's no better time than right now to do that so you're ready for the next election. Go to and enter your address information or contact your municipal clerk.

You can find more voting information at the Common Cause Wisconsin website including resources for how to get assistance and answers for your election questions.

Stay engaged and encouraged by connecting with others and taking advantage of these opportunities. Your active engagement makes our democracy stronger and preserves our freedom to vote and have our voices heard.
